Domino’s is offering 50% off menu-priced pizzas from October 5 through October 11, including its new Detroit-style pizza made for one.

The National Pizza Month promotion covers carryout and delivery. Customers can order through the company’s website or mobile app, by phone, or in-store. Domino’s announcement

Customers can also choose Stuffed Crust, specialty pizzas and other pizza options included in the announcement. The advertised discount applies to the pizzas’ menu prices. Check the final order total and the selected restaurant’s offer before paying.

The breadth of ordering channels is a useful detail for customers: the announcement includes phone and counter orders alongside digital ordering.

Braisepoint’s operating view: Pairing a familiar discount with a new product gives existing customers a lower-priced opportunity to try it. The longer-term question would be whether those trial orders lead to another purchase after the promotion ends.

For a restaurant, order count alone would offer an incomplete picture. Product mix, the amount spent per order and the work required during busy periods would also matter. A successful week would need to combine customer interest with execution that gives people a reason to come back.

The company has announced the offer, rather than results from the promotional week. October 11 is the final advertised day.
