Privacy Policy
Braisepoint collects a limited amount of information to operate the publication, understand its audience and deliver requested email updates.
Last updated September 6, 2026
Information you provide
When you join the Braisepoint Brief, we collect the email address you submit. If you contact Braisepoint by email, we receive the information contained in your message and any attachments you choose to send.
Information collected automatically
When you visit Braisepoint, the site records limited audience information including the page viewed, a randomly generated visitor identifier, a session identifier, referral source, campaign parameters and approximate country, region and city supplied by our hosting infrastructure. These identifiers help distinguish visits and sessions; they are not names, account numbers or precise GPS locations.
Braisepoint uses browser local storage and session storage for those randomly generated identifiers. Cloudflare and normal internet infrastructure may also process technical information such as IP addresses, device details and security logs in order to deliver and protect the site.
How information is used
- To operate, secure and improve Braisepoint.
- To measure readership, traffic sources and story performance.
- To understand broad geographic and audience patterns.
- To maintain the subscriber list and send updates readers request.
- To respond to messages, corrections and news tips.
- To prevent spam, fraud, abuse and technical problems.
Sharing and selling information
Braisepoint does not currently sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure or support the publication, including Cloudflare. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse of the site.
Retention and security
Information is retained only while it remains reasonably useful for the purposes described above or as required by law. Braisepoint uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect stored information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to unsubscribe, access, correct or delete information associated with your email address by contacting editor@braisepoint.com. Every future Braisepoint bulk email will provide an unsubscribe method.
You can clear Braisepoint's locally stored visitor and session identifiers through your browser settings. Blocking browser storage may limit audience measurement but should not prevent you from reading published stories.
Children's privacy
Braisepoint is a general-audience business publication and is not directed to children under 13. Braisepoint does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact the address above to request deletion.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as the publication or its services change. Material updates will be reflected by the date shown on this page. Questions about this policy may be sent to editor@braisepoint.com.
