A planned Circle K travel center in Binghamton, New York, will put Dunkin’, Wendy’s and a Papa Johns pizza offering at the same stop. The Briad Group’s September 28 announcement targets a fall 2026 opening at 265 Court Street.
The 6,800-square-foot project includes eight fuel pumps and separate drive-thru lanes for Dunkin’ and Wendy’s. Papa Johns is described as a nontraditional branded pizza offering. Briad says its engineering team designed the building to accommodate the four brands.
The next location, in Watertown, is under construction with a January 2027 target. Briad describes a longer-term plan for up to 40 sites through its Circle K development agreement.
The financing framework predates this week’s announcement. In November 2025, Peachtree Group outlined up to $200 million in financing for Briad’s convenience-store development and acquisitions, with two to four projects annually over several years. That was a program covering multiple properties. Peachtree said the first Binghamton development financing had already closed.
For restaurant operators, the interesting question is how much demand one property can serve. A driver stopping for fuel could also buy breakfast, coffee or dinner. Placing several familiar brands together gives the operator several chances to win that food purchase.
That is Braisepoint’s interpretation of the format’s potential. Turning it into a successful restaurant operation still requires coordinated traffic flow, staffing, ordering and food production. Separate drive-thrus may help divide demand, but the property has to function as a convenient stop when several businesses are busy at once.
The performance measures worth watching after opening are practical ones: service times, repeat visits and sales across different parts of the day. Those would tell operators more about the format’s value than the number of logos on the building.
For now, the September announcement provides an opening season rather than a specific day. Readers should watch for a firm date before planning a visit.
