Chuck E. Cheese is planning to take its Adventure World indoor-play format to more than 20 U.S. communities across 2026 and 2027, moving beyond the first location that opened in Arlington, Texas, in November 2025.
The September 28 announcement lists six 2026 markets: West Fargo, North Dakota; Chandler, Arizona; Rochester, New York; Houston; Plano, Texas; and Las Vegas. The seven named for 2027 are Flint, Michigan; MacArthur Park and Hawthorne, California; Crestwood, Illinois; Lakewood, Colorado; Chesterfield, Missouri; and Los Angeles. Chuck E. Cheese says additional cities and exact opening dates will follow. These are planned locations, not a list of 13 newly opened sites.
Adventure World is a larger outing format centered on multilevel play structures. The company describes 12,000 to 18,000 square feet or more of play, dining and celebration space, with climbing, slides, ball pits, obstacle courses, a toddler area and digital entertainment.
The food counter, called the Power Up Station, serves items including pizza, wings, popcorn and nachos. Admission is marketed as one price per child for all-day play; birthday packages start at $99.99 for six children. Local terms and prices should be checked before a visit.
Braisepoint's operating view: This format broadens the reason to visit. A family might come for open-ended play, a birthday, a field trip or a group outing, with food purchased during a longer stay. That makes the business less dependent on a single meal period than a conventional restaurant visit.
It also creates a different operating challenge. An all-day play promise asks the site to manage arrivals and capacity, supervise and clean high-contact areas, keep the food counter moving and deliver parties on schedule. Food service cannot be treated as an afterthought when guests may stay for hours.
The company says the Arlington opening ranked among its most successful, but it has not supplied comparable sales or attendance figures for the format in this release. The rollout will be the real test: whether sites in different markets can convert a play concept into repeat family visits while maintaining a reliable food and party experience.
Chuck E. Cheese has separately announced three Adventure World sites planned for Jalisco, Mexico. They are distinct from the more-than-20 U.S. community target.
