Chipotle is bringing back its margarita for a five-city October tour, charging $6 at one selected restaurant per weekend. The offer is for guests 21 and older, with each stop running Friday and Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. local time.
The schedule announced September 28:
Denver, Colorado — October 2–3: 2760 S. Colorado Blvd.
Brooklyn, New York — October 9–10: 185 Montague St.
Dallas, Texas — October 16–17: 2401 Victory Park Lane.
Los Angeles, California — October 23–24: 7660 W. Sunset Blvd.
New Orleans, Louisiana — October 30–31: 2801 Magazine St.
Chipotle says each pop-up includes a dedicated bar. Boorito returns October 31; its entrée-offer details are still pending.
For operators, Braisepoint sees the useful lesson in the promotion’s structure. A tightly scheduled event gives people a specific reason to visit and share the news. Spreading it across several weekends also creates repeated opportunities for attention.
Execution will determine whether that attention helps the restaurant. Extra demand can be valuable, but only if staffing, drink service and food orders work together. The announcement provides no sales forecast or event profitability figures.
This is a limited event schedule. Customers should check the listed location and dates before making the trip.
